September 2023

Breckland District Council are holding a consultation on their proposal to adopt a Local Validation List.

A Local Validation List is a checklist for applicants to ensure they submit the necessary information, depending on application type, to make an application valid.

More information can be found on their website, along with details on how to submit your own views. The closing date for this consultation is 20 October

Neighbourhood Watch - a new group called "Mattishall, Shipdham and Watton Neighbourhood Watch" has setup a new Facebook group. The group covers 12 parishes (including East Tuddenham) and 1 town council.

The road closure at Church Lane is causing issues for bin collections. Serco are looking at rearranging rounds/days to accommodate the closure.

*****NEW HOUSING OPEN EVENT - 27 JUNE 3PM TO 7PM*****

Orchard Homes would like the opportunity to share the plans proposed for the new site of housing in the village.  The requirement for East Tuddenham to benefit from Affordable homes has been long on the agenda, and with the proposed plans, we would like to seek the views from the village.

An Open Event will be held at the Village Hall, 27th June, 3.00pm and 7.00pm.  Orcahrd Homes Director Clive Binks and their Design and Planning Team will be there to seek your views and answer any questions.

Many of our residents have raised the issue of speeding through our village so we have begun talks with the community speedwatch team who have agreed to help us.

May 2023

On 13 May some of our councillors were out litter picking. They will start again next Spring before the new growing season starts. Please look out for the dates and come join us.
